To some people they do not really give any emphasis on what are the effects of using faux wood window blinds or blackout window blinds in the room or house. Actually I have been trying to tell what I feel to a lot of homeowners and decorators for a long time now and believe me when I say that I still haven’t been successful! It is sometimes not easy to convince some decorators and new home owners about the great thing about putting a touch of luxury with window blinds.

Don’t you like to feel and see your house interior look so elegant and luxuriously looking? And these products are not always expensive as there what they call a faux wood blinds which are cheaper and durable as well.  Add to that their availability in a wide variety of styles, stains, colors, sizes and even materials, and it’s clear why they have become a favorite of homeowners and interior decorators alike.

Window Treatments BlindsIn terms of where to place wooden blinds there are a number of key concerns that must be considered. Not only the lowest price of window treatments and coverings but one name you can trust upon for the quality faux window coverings and assures that these customers feels confident and pleased while purchasing our product. Ideally this type of blind should only be used in rooms with a suitable temperature and moisture content.

With faux wood, there is no change in size or shape just because of the weather. In addition some companies even specialize in producing faux wood blinds manufactured using recycled materials ensuring that customers’ environmental consciences are suitably satisfied. Another design choice is a valance.

The battle between real wood blinds and faux wood blinds is silently going on. Wood shutters are constructed by stapling the slats with tiny staples to the frame of the shutter. This can cause a problem over time with the staples working their way out.

One of the best I have heard from a customer is that they are so satisfied with what they bought that they felt like millionaires. They are of course talking about how the look on their house after they have installed their new window coverings. This is where I always emphasize the fact these window blinds can really enhancing the look and feel of a house.

Some people simply don’t get it. They want the great looking home treatments like wood but faux wood coverings can give you as much elegance and enhancement as the real wood.  Want the look of wood but not the price then take a good look at the selection of faux wood blinds. How Faux Wood is Made Faux simply means that it is not genuine or real. Cheap faux wood blinds are traditional window blinds which are particularly meant to add wooden look without even using wood.

There are not numerous choices you can settle with for the discount window blinds, as the good as well as the cheap blinds mainly are not present if you have a very tight budget or less to spare. Even if you are just looking at replacing one set of tab top curtains for wood blinds, the cost can be quite inhibitive. Woven wood blinds are made in a few types of materials, reed, jute, bamboo etc.

Cheap Faux Wood Window BlindsYou got to believe when builders and renovators alike would suggest that using faux wood window blinds is as great looking as the real expensive wood blinds or from Hunter Douglas or Hilary’s blinds.  I will say that I have put these blinds in a 20 million dollar house as well as a $150,000 dollar house and they looked equally as well in both. Wood blinds are not generally recommended for areas with high moisture since wood can warp. Believe me, you won’t. The high quality faux wood window blinds are assembled with two-inch PVC slats, hard-wearing all metal head rails, and 3¼” majestic molded valance, constructive and pleasing to the eye.

Moisture can also cause warping that is not restored once the weather changes. The lifting of the faux wood blind would still be done manually with the standard lift cord. If you choose to buy the faux wood vertical blinds, then this comes with a covering for the head rail, so you don’t need to have a valance.

Wood shutters can require very frequent dusting to keep them clean. On the other hand, if you can compromise, alloy or composite (wood and vinyl mix) faux wood blinds over deliver for a modest investment. Then the slats to the shutter start to fall out.
